Tag Heuer Link Calibre S 1/100^th second electro-mechanical chronograph 43mm is the second timepiece from Tag Heuer Link series. It’s the first watch with the revolutionary Calibre S Tag Heuer chronograph that is able to calculate and display 1/100^th of the second. This accuracy is possible because of the combination between quartz and mechanical technology. As with Link Calibre 16 two options of the Calibre S model are available- one with silver dial and one with white. Leather, polished steel and rubber are the usual materials used for the straps.

Tag Heuer Link Calibre S Review

This time piece is elegant, beautiful, looks stylish and classy. It’s the perfect balance between to many features of the dial and the simple clear ones. The movement system automatic/quartz has proven as reliable and extremely well performing. The sapphire crystal that uses as scratch protection could be damaged only by a diamond or other sapphire; therefore you don’t have to worry too much for your watch. What’s more the anti-glare system delivers ultimate anti reflection and could not be compared to the glass one at all. When it does reflect some light it turns the black bezel color into dark blue or even purple at times.

This watch is created to be comfortable and easy to use. If you travel a lot then you would love to have one of these as the change of the time is much easier and could be done just by pressing the buttons and not by twirling the minute hand back. Furthermore it’s really developed for a business people- the calendar is designed so to synchronize automatically when the month is shorter than 31 days. In other words you don’t have to tune it every end of the month.

The battery is also incredible with its endurance. As with the hybrid movement system there’s the disadvantage of changing the battery which should be done in authorized Tag Heuer mechanic in order to test the condition of the watch too. However this is a little expensive- around $100-150.
Generally Link Calibre S is created in such way that you don’t have to bother to much with it, you only have to enjoy it on your hand.

My little research showed that in Amazon the reviews of the service and the whole buying experience are excellent. Moreover the price there varies between 2200-3200 USD which is about a grand cheaper than in the local authorized shops.
